Embarrassing Moment:Wrong place and time

Last year, I was taking up basketball classes in my school. It was only for girls and I was making a lot of new friends. I really hated the classes but not because of my friends. The teacher was driving me crazy! The activities that we were doing were horrible. They were so tiring and boring…The teacher hated me just because I wasn’t a good basketball player. But I was doing my best while playing. I just found basketball very hard.
One day, after the classes, when I was walking around the school with my friend, I started to talk about basketball classes. I said that I was really annoyed with the teacher and I was thinking about dropping basketball classes. But my friend told me that I had to carry on with the classes, because the championship would be next month. Then I started to say bad things about the teacher. But when I looked behind me, the teacher was there, and she had listened to all the things that I was saying about her! I went bright red, and started immediately to talk good things about her, that her classes weren’t so bad…
I wish the ground would open up and swallow me. And I dropped out basketball classes, because if I continued the classes, the teacher’d hate me more.

Embarrassing Moment: I didn´t see it

I was in the music class of my old school. There were many musical instruments, chairs and students including my friends. The teacher made up a new activity that we had to act out a sketch. We had to present to the other students. He wasn’t putting pressure on the students, but he wanted us to work seriously.
At the beginning of the scene, my friend and I were thieves in the story. I was running fast but I didn’t see the wall in front of me, so I buried my face in the wall. My face became red and I was feeling so much pain. Everybody was laughing including the teacher. I can´t stand people laughing at me. I wanted to wake up and start the day again.
After that, the bell rang and we had to make for another classroom. I felt so embarrassed and now I don’t want to feel that way again.

Embarrassing Moment: Only my Underwear

About three years ago, I had an embarrassing moment. I was in my classroom looking forward to hearing the bell, finally that happened and I went happily to have break time.
I bought a sandwich and went to the playground that was crowded
Suddenly a fat boy, who was in my classroom, took off my shorts. Unfortunately I had only my light blue underwear, which was bought by my mother. Everybody laughed at me and my face became completely red, like a tomato.
I couldn’t stand that and I punched his ugly nose.
Of course we ended up at head teacher’s office. Our head teacher asked us what the problem was and that boy made up a false story. I contradicted him but the teacher kept on asking us questions. Finally they found out the truth and a detention was given to the boy.

Embarrassing Moment: Ripped Jeans

It was a very beautiful day. I woke up happily because I was going to my grandmother’s house. I went to the bathroom to wash up and to brush my teeth, but I pressed the toothpaste, and it spilled in my eye. After, when we were arriving at home, my best friend, João, called me, because he was having a send-off party . I wanted to go, but I promised to my parents that I was going to look after my sister after returning from my grandmother’s house. Two hours after looking after my sister, I finally convinced my parents to go to João’s house.
I felt very angry and nervous with my friends, because they decided to play football, and I don’t like football very much. I was in the apartment of João, and we were playing football, I was the goalkeeper, and I was doing my job, and my team was winning, 3-0. A friend of João kicked the ball to the corner of the goal net, and I jumped to get the ball, but I was wearing jeans, and when I jumped, my jeans ripped, it was such a big hole that everybody laughed at me, and I felt so embarrassed that I wanted to be in the other side of the world.
My father came to bring me another pair of pants and I kept on playing, but this time Iwas careful.

Embarrassing moment: Wrong Person

A month ago, I was talking to my crush on MSN. He was telling me about the girl that he likes. Then, he told me that the girl was me! And I was so happy, and so excited, my heart was beating so fast… I caught my celphone, wrote a message to all my friends telling everything that happened, and about my love for him, and then, I sent it.
Well, then he said: “I’m laughing a lot! I’ve just received a message from you!”
I jerked. I felt like I was falling. I sent the message, accidentally, to HIM! I was under pressure! I went bright red, really, I was RED. I didn’t know what to do, and I start to laugh. I know, sending a message to your crush, telling about your secret love, looks impossible to happen, but actually it’s possible, unfortunately. And I told him about my feelings, obviously, I didn’t have another option. When I think about this moment, I go bright red and start to laugh, like I’m doing now. That was a really embarrassing moment, and I find it very frightening. I hope that does not happen again.

Embarrassing moment: When the lights are off

Last weekend, I was traveling with my friends, we were in ‘Quinta da Baroneza’, a condo in the interior of São Paulo. One day, we went to a friend´s house, Marcelo.
Lola, Bárbara and I, asked Marcelo where bathroom was, and he said: “Go up, go to the left and it is the last bedroom it’s orange”. We went up, went to the left, but we didn’t see any orange bedroom. So my friend Bárbara, went to the right and me and Lola kept on looking for it. She shouted “Come here, this bedroom is orange!” We ran, but the lights were off. Bárbara turned on the lights, but this time one man said: “Shiiu!” We looked at the bed and he was sleeping. I felt so embarrassed, I didn’t know if I should laugh or if I should I cry. I wanted to die. We turned off the lights, closed the door and ran to the lower floor. We looked innocence and we gave up going to the bedroom.

Embarrassing moment: The Disgusting Drink

When I was younger, I was in the restaurant with my family, my dad, my mum, my old cousin, we were at a family dinner.
I asked the waiter for Coke with ice and lemon, but when the Coke arrived, there wasn´t any lemon. My sister was supposed to take care of me. When I saw that she was putting on her coat, I ran into the male bathroom to pee. When I was doing it, I saw lemons inside the loo to freshen the air, I picked up two lemons and I got back to my seat, and I put the lemons in my Coke. When I was drinking, my sister screamed: “No, Guilherme! You found those lemons in the bathroom! Throw it out!”
At the moment, I didn’t understand, but after some days, I discovered that the people pee in those lemons! That day was the most embarrassing day of my life.

Embarrassing moment : Hey man !

I was at my English class, looking around during the break, when I saw a weird, hmm, person. So I asked my friend to check if it was a girl or a boy, and she could swear that it was a boy. Then we were looking for details to make sure that it was a boy, but the supposed boy was wearing a top. For that reason we didn’t know if we should keep on thinking that it was a boy. We decided to question our other friends and they didn’t know either.
We really wanted to know it, but we didn’t know how. So my friend came up with an idea, she inquired somebody to ask the person’s name, and I volunteered myself. And indiscreetly we five went to the person and out of the blue I just asked her name. Then she said with a masculine voice her name was Valentina. We kept walking away from her burst out laughing. I was embarrassed to do that, and I went bright red, but we needed to know that.

EMBARRASSING MOMENT: the leakage dance

Two months ago, I was at the corridors of the school talking with my friends when I had a stupid idea which became the worst moment of my whole life!
We were joking, laughing and having a lot of fun. In the middle of all the fun, I decided to show my friends the choreography of one of the TIGRE’s commercial.
In the advertisement, there are five people dancing with strange expressions, something like sad faces. The song, which is danced, talks about pipes, stains, molds and especially about leakages. Can you imagine somebody dancing something like this? I danced.
All my friends were bursting out laughing and I kept on dancing. But, when I saw, the guy I had a crush on was coming from his classroom. I stopped dancing immediately. I wanted to die!
I got down and faked I was looking for my glasses. Suddenly, I saw two feet. Whose feet? HIS OF COURSE! He asked me where I had lost my glasses, but he knew that I didn’t wear glasses… He said that I didn’t need to make up anything.
Today I don’t like him anymore. Anyway, he found out that I had a crush on him and laughed. Today, everybody forgot the day I danced, but I didn’t…

Embarrassing moment: Dog's Attack

About four years ago, when I was ten, I had the most embarrassing moment of my entire life.
It happened on a Friday, I woke up at six o’ clock to go to school. That day I was in a bad humor, because like any other Friday, my mom forced me to take up piano lessons. I jumped out of my bed and went to the bathroom, I brushed my teeth, changed my clothes, and when I turned around I felt a bite in my butt, then I saw my dog running away from me, but I was late for school, so I ignored it. When I went downstairs I realized that everyone had already woken up, I saw my sister and remembered that I was very angry with her, because my mom asked me to keep an eye on her, so I couldn’t chill out with my friends. When my mom dropped me at school all of my friends started laughing, I didn’t care at first, but as the day was passing, it was getting hard to deal with the laughers, so I asked my best friend why the hell they were laughing at me, then he showed my the back part of my shorts, there was a huge hole in there. I wanted to die, but time went by, and my friends almost forgot about this incident.

Embarrassing moment: The wrong person

Last year I was invited by a friend , my new friend Julia, to her grandmother’s birthday. I was looking forward to the party and I didn’t know what to buy as a gift, so I asked my mother to buy it. We bought some beautiful flowers and I wrote a birthday card.
At night my friend Julia and her family, her parents and her brother, came to pick me up, I was going into the car with the flowers, when Julia said: - These flowers are so beautiful! Are they for me?
- No, they are for your grandmother.- I answered.
- Everybody in the car started looking at me with a bewildered look, I didn’t understand, but we carried on . When I arrived at the house I started looking for Julia’s grandmother to give her gift, the flowers. But everybody began to come close to Julia and congratulate her and they gave gifts to her. I thought very strange, but after I understood that it wasn’t Julia’s grandmother´s party but it was Julia’s party, in her grandmother’s house. I started to feel very nervous and I didn’t know what do , so I said to Julia:
I was joking with you, these flowers aren’t for your grandmother, they are for you. Congratulations!
She picked the flowers, and saw the birthday card and read out loud:
-Ms. Joana, congratulations for your birthday. I hope that you like the flowers, so everybody burst out laughing. I wanted die!

Embarrassing moment: If you want your life to become easy, sit on a pudding.

I was friend´s birthday, actually her giant party. All school was there. This happened last year but the jokes will continue for all my life.
My friend was eating pudding, he stood up and went around to find out what was happening in the party, it was a fight. I was looking for him, I was tired, I sat down, and when I sat I felt something strange under me. It was the pudding! When I stood up, everybody started laughing at me, it was so embarrassing!
After that day I was never the same.

Embarrassing Moment: Wrong Car

It was a beautiful day, I went to my club to play football with my friends. After the game, we took off the t-shirt and jumped in the refreshing swimming pool. We swam until 7 o’clock.
Then, my mother phoned me and she told me to go to the entrance of the club, because I said to her that I would look after my little brother when she was out at that night.
When I arrived in the entrance I looked at the street to find my mother but I didn’t see my mother’s car. I looked forward to seeing my mother, I waited 15 minutes and then I saw the car, so I ran, stopped in front of the car which kept on for a moment and stopped, I waved to the driver (my mother) and entered the car.
When I looked at the driver, it was a big surprise, it wasn’t my mother, it was a man who I never saw in my life, but whose car was the same as my mother! At that moment I was so embarrassed and I didn’t know what to do.
I left the car very embarrassed and I laughed, then I saw my mother trying to find out what I was doing. I got in the RIGHT car and when we were going to my house I told her the story.

Embarrassing moment: Why does this always happen?

I was in my school, at lunch time, at the football pitch, we were playing football and I was looking forward to scoring a goal. We were keeping up with the enemy, who always is the winner of the game. I was taking care of our goal and in charge of the attack of the team. There were 2 minutes left for the bell to ring, it was my last chance to score the goal and win the game, so I got the ball and made up a way to score the goal, I saw a space between the two other players, I passed between them and I was free to score a goal, but I fell down and the impact took off my shoes, I was so close to the goal, then everybody started to laugh. I was alone and free to score but instead I fell down. Everybody got out of the pitch laughing at me and I didn’t score a goal. I felt so strange; I wanted to be on the other side of the world.

Embarrassing Moment: A Disaster Trip

Five months ago at Christmas, my family and I were traveling to Disney, USA. At the New Year, I, my parents, my brother, my uncles, my cousins and my grandparents went to magic Kingdom. In middle of the day I started to speak Portuguese with the person that sold ice-cream. I didn’t realize I couldn’t speak Portuguese .This was the most embarrassing moment of my life. I was lucky because the man spoke Spanish and understood me.
In the same travel I was in a house in Kissimmee. I woke up and when I was having breakfast I tore my short in front of my family. I had to fix my shorts to go to the park.
But the most embarrassing moment was in the restaurant. I had finished my lunch and I went to the bathroom. I entered the bathroom fast and went to the booth. When I was washing my hands I looked at my cousin. She was looking at me. Then it dawned on me that I was in the wrong bathroom. I wanted to die. My cousin started laughing.
